Though not really qualifying as a town since it’s mainly a series of family-run boarding homes strung along a valley near the Lycian ruins in Turkey, Olympos can be better described as a village. However, the region presents numerous attractions for those who dare to part with the beaches of the coast and large resorts which fill up with tourists at the beginning of the hot season every year. There are the Lycian ruins, which are very appreciated by most tourists coming to Turkey, an isolated Mediterranean beach, treehouse-styled bungalows and even flames that burn unexpectedly from the side of a mountain.
